Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9)

The Christian life

The self-driven life is a superficial one the say the least. Becoming a child of God is a revival back to the cosmos of reality and spontaneity. The eyes of the reborn are given witness to glory which the natural man cannot discern. As we are accustomed to follow our instinctive ambitions by nature (walking by sight), the christian life however is a 180 degree swerve from that concept.

The Christian life as you may have guessed it is a walk of faith. It is the disposing of one's will followed by the acceptance and surrender to God's will. The relationship may jump-start in many different ways which will no doubt captivate you. The Holy spirit will intercede and comfort you acting as your third eye. It is the beginning of eternity, a journey of transformation, faith and love.

What is accomplished on earth (good works through faith) will affect one's eternal residence. It involves not merely an invitation but the masonry of the heavenly kingdom and a transition into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Given that we are unworthy of such a honor, the purging process is without question a painful undergoing. Christian living holds no carte-blanch to the good-life but on the contrary, it is a walk not many are willing to walk. It is not a easy journey but the prize alone should be enough to discount the trials ahead.

That being said, it is also a life like none other. It holds a happiness which does not belong to the world. The resting arms of Jesus hold ecstasy unknown to the pages of understanding. It is a mystery which awaits those who step out in faith.

Precious Gift

The fact that salvation is a gift from God, It should not be taken for granted (deliberately continuing in sin knowing that one is saved). Nevertheless, God is able to deliver us from falling. Back sliding is normally due to a immature faith. To truly love and understand the heavenly father, you must engage in personal intimacy with Him. Prayer, (fellowship with God),  reading of the scriptures is essentially what will accomplish this.

Bible Quotes

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind (Ephesians 4:17)

Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (Romans 6:1-2)

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour(Ephesians 5:1-2)

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:8-11)

Will you ever sin again?

The answer is Yes. Once you are saved, a person will be spared from the penalty of sin (eternal damnation) but will always retain a sinful nature. That is not intended to discourage anyone but to build a early acceptance. But sinning while as Christian is always in the habitual form, not the slavery form, because Christ delivers us from the bondage of sin. Many new born again children do fall into the snares of guilt having failed to understand the aspect of  being "dead to sin" and that their sins were paid for and the work is over. There is no condemnation (guilty of wrongdoing Romans 8:1) for anyone who is marked with the blood of Christ. The fact that those sins have been paid for should immediately pull you out of that mind frame. Repentance however is still a natural occurrence while under grace, especially if one backslides.

The initial purpose of your salvation is for God to willingly mold you and lead you by the wayside of Holiness so that you may personally witness your old unclean habits wither away. He will walk you through the alleys of righteousness and you will clearly foresee the image that He has for you which is Christ Jesus.

Be also conscious of Satan's entrapment. Do not for a moment buy the idea that you have not been saved when truly your soul cannot deny it. He can no longer harm you since you have been given authority over him through Jesus Christ.

Bible Quotes

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11)

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17)

The notable devil

If you have been born again, Satan is now your sworn adversary facing the fact that he has lost the long battle for your cherished soul. Having been your masquerading enemy since day one, he will now be defaced before you. You will have the ability to detect him and rebuke him as your faith will increase. He will heedlessly continue with lies, deceits and corruption in attempts to savage your faith any chance he gets since you are now a threat to his rebellious charge.

You may act passively to Satan's capabilities in the early start of your vocation. But be not deceived, the enemy was named "wiser than daniel"(the prophet). He is subtitled "the father of lies". This is in addition to His invisible qualities and premeditations which truly put you in vulnarable position. But we are told to be alert and resist the devil, being versed in scriptural knowledge and submission to the Holy Spirit.

But be courageous and firm in your faith. Jesus is King and you are his property. Satan trembles in the sight of God!

Bible Quotes

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8)

Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11)

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen (Romans 16:20)

Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil (1 Timothy 3:7)

Loving life, not the world

Life is truly beautiful when we set aside the darkness which corrodes its infrastructure. Beyond all the troubles which we face, God's creativity and luster are seen from all angles of the world. From the Himalayas to the brushing fronds of the Caribbean. It is a reminder to us of His sovereignty, looking over His sphere each and every second of day, graciously expressing His terms of endearment.

All the sorrows which gyrate our globe are a result of sin, human negligence and the higher powers of corruption which war against us. God's vision of life is perfection and his Kingdom is made of exactly that. Loving life does not mean loving the "world" (sinful pleasures, worthless leisure, corruption, ungodly counsel), but simply cherishing the "good things"  such as love, laughter and the wonders of creations, for they have been given to us by Him who loves us dearly.

Bible Quotes

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Joy and sharing Christ

With the expanding secularization of the 21st century, we can accept the fact that our spirits will not always be elated in praise. But when speaking of God's will, we should not forget that retaining a joyful heart fills a large portion of that will. When we speak of suffering for Christ's sake, we should not distort the other elementary standard of cultivating the fruits of the spirit.

Jesus did not leave us His peace in vain. Tho the enemy is at work to distort the will God into a image of melancholia, we have the upper hand. Spiritual exercise so to speak is where the fruit is watered. Sunday morning church attendance alone will not achieve this. Personal efforts, daily and fervent bible readings and willingness to serve God will culminate in that unshakeable joy.

Let us be imitators of Christ and share and spread the message of salvation with the rest of the world in obediance to the Great Commission! (Matthew 28:18-20).

Do not idle young Christians! We are in the age of grace not in heaven yet! Preach the good news to every creature! (Mark 16:15)

Bible Quotes

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27)

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-2)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22)
