Self-suffiancy 
Able to provide for oneself without the help of others; independent.

Greed  
An excessive desire to acquire or possess more than what one needs.

Idolatry
Worshiping anything aside from God, including oneself.

Pride
Overriding self-praise and an absence of humility.


Money: A sole dependency and an answer to life's problems.                     
Pleasure: The main concept of life and the end result of achievement.   
Career: Focal point over family, marriage, children.         
Accomplishment: Personal gratification and vaunting.
Religion: Catering to belief of choice regardless to evidence of truth.
Power: Control and finger pointing.
Own goals: My way or the highway (non conforming)
Status: Social respect and recognition.
Influence: Being perceived as wise and influential.
Position: Striving for a unique or famous persona.
Control: Wanting to run your own show without others.
Own opinions: Wanting your voice to be over amplified.
