Behold I stand at the door and knock (Revelation 3:20)
God's great humility!
Have you ever heard God knocking on your door? More than Once?
That's because GOD is a BEGGAR!
God is constantly pounding at your door so he can greet you with eternal life, so he can LOVE you, dine with you and save you and have you for eternity!
YOUR God hast a heart too. He wants you!
You may have bolted your door shut, you may have crawled in a corner, afraid, weary, not wanting to believe in His salvation. You may have ignored Him for years in a self-driven life. You may have set Him aside for friends, acceptance and sinful pleasure.
But God's tender longing for your soul has been for your complete deliverance! He has been patiently sitting by your door, waiting and waiting and waiting to hear the hinges squeak open!
He knocks and he knocks and he knocks! Don't wait for it to be too late! Death has no agenda!
The love of a God, a friend, a consoler, a lover, a saviour, a life, a quench to all thirst. The value of your happiness is His hearts desire.
God knows you need Him!
It's time to open your door and let Him in!
